The noir existential play is set in 1947 San Francisco and features private eyes Sam Marlowe and Miles Sawyer, red-hot night-club singer Beverly Marlowe, SFPD Detective William Jones, SF Examiner reporter Jimmy Fredericks, and Edna Mersey, the all-American girl. 

Jim Strope wrote the plays Mitch Mikinos, Something You Might Want, Mad Tom, Corned Beef and Man Without a Mask. 

Edward Nattenberg is a graduate of ACT's master’s program in drama and the director of Catchy Name’s astonishing Man Without a Mask. Edward appeared in the ACT productions of Ramayana, Serious Money and Mourning Becomes Electra.  

Catchy Name Theatre Company produces serious comedy, outrageous revivals, dramatic shock treatment and elegant wit.  We've staged Evil Hamlet, Mitch Mikinos, Something You Might Want, Mad Tom, Corned Beef  and Man Without a Mask and the SF Fringe Festival, all written, cast, rehearsed and produced in the City.  We perform at the Stagewerx, Phoenix, Boxcar, Actors' Center and the Exit in San Francisco. 
All box-office and concession revenues go to cast and crew.
